Biomashin participated in Technology Workshop as part of the official program of the NIGHT Festival Plovdiv 2019
On September 13 and 14, 2019, Biomashin participated in the Technology Workshop, part of the official program of the three-day "NIGHT" Plovdiv 2019 Festival.
The purpose of the Technology Workshop was to arouse children's interest in the technical sciences and vocational education. Our young guests had the opportunity to design in 3D environment, to make various models of vessels and apparatuses for food and beverage production.
Here's the balance:
- 90 tanks for chocolate were assembled by our little friends and hopefully future colleagues one day;
- over 150 children have tried to draw their own vessel with our help;
Educational-Industrial Board Plovdiv, in partnership with leading industrial companies and vocational high schools, organized this technology workshop for children. In 2016, the Municipality of Plovdiv signed an agreement to establish this board together with the Ministry of Education and Trakia Economic Zone. The aim was to work more closely with schools and businesses, as well as to promote early career opportunities for children.
During the 2018/2019 academic year, Biomashin hosted 100 students from different schools who visited the company and saw "How to make a heat exchanger" and industrial equipment and had the opportunity to learn about the different professions in the company.
