Beer is the oldest and most consumed beverage worldwide. It is the third most popular drink at all after water and tea.

Beer production involves the use of four natural resources – water, malt, hop, and yeast. Each of these raw materials has its own special features that combined with others in the technological process forms the character of various beer types.


Fermenters/Cylindrical-Conical Tanks

Cylindrical-conical shape of tanks together with efficient fermentation of yeast facilitates the process of extracting the yeast as well as other solid elements at the last moment of fermentation.

It is mandatory when it comes to CCTs to have a cooling device that would take the heat resulting from fermentation.

In most cases, such tanks are apparatuses working under pressure, which are an object under the European Directive for vessels working under pressure PED97/23/EU. Biomashin has the relative experience and knowledge, as well as the obligatory certification for design and production.
